Belgium-Germany Energy Summit

Yesterday, the staff of the FPS Chancellery of the Prime Minister, in collaboration with the Prime Minister's Strategic Unit and the FPS Foreign Affairs, organised a summit between Belgium and Germany on the topic of energy in Zeebrugge. Prime Minister Alexander De Croo and Energy Minister Tinne Van der Straeten visited the Fluxys LNG terminal with the German delegation, led by Chancellor Olaf Scholz and State Secretary for Economy and Climate Action Patrick Graichen. Further bilateral talks were held in the presence of business leaders, including on intensifying cooperation on hydrogen, LNG, renewable energy and electrification, within the framework of the green transition.
